The Buoy・Coffee・Hayes Valley My favorite latte in the city. The Buoy serves Asian-inspired drinks and has a stunning interior that’s a great place to work at. At night it transforms into a Korean bar, which serves small eats and bites. Wonderful place to work that serves amazing drinks.
Q Specialty Coffee・Coffee/Matcha・Presidio Heights I think arguably the best matcha in the city. Their velvet matcha is spectacular and their drinks are also great. You can smell the beans that they use and really get some special artisan pour over.
Tadaima・Matcha・Mission Awesome little spot on the Mission that’s perfect for when you want to get matcha along Valencia. Do not stop at Stone Mill and get to Tadaima instead. Their strawberry matcha is amazing.
Shoji・Matcha・FiDi The ambiance on this place is incredible and their matcha drink is more of a dessert than an actual drink. I’d say if you’re looking for a special occasion and want to go to a bar/place that serves beverages during the day, go here.
Kopê House・Coffee・Hayes Valley Just opened up in Hayes Valley and has really good artisan drinks. In a sort of dead area for this type of coffee shop.
Urban Ritual・Boba・Hayes Valley Arguably the best boba in the city, the Hong Kong Milk Tea is amazing. Try any of their milk-tea based drinks.
